ATF season has Trevor Strader 1-man show

Warren County pays out $3.3-million in ‘fraudulent phishing scheme’

Warren County disclosed this morning that in early December it paid $3.3-million to a bogus account “through a fraudulent phishing scheme.”

The press release said, “According to Warren County officials, two electronic payments in the amounts of $2.1 million (December 12th, 2025) and $1.2 million (December 22, 2025) were transmitted to a fraudulent bank account by the Warren County Treasurer’s Office.

To open women’s boutique on South Street

Ali Gazetos Mineo will open a women’s boutique — Floro’s Mercantile — in the South Street storefront where her family’s New Way Lunch once operated.

Amsterdam ends Glens Falls boys 56-game sectional record hoop win streak

The Chronicle’s Ben Westcott writes: Glens Falls boys basketball’s record breaking 56-game win streak came to an end with a 61-36 road loss to Amsterdam on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

The streak, which included two undefeated seasons and two state championships, is a Section 2 record, section Boys Basketball Coordinator Will Ferguson told The Chronicle.
