Assistant Chief Robert Miksch and Firefighter Stephen Girard retired from the Glens Falls Fire Department after 34 and 24 years of service respectively. “I am going for an interview with the Conservative Committee on February 3, and with the Republican Committee on February 4,” seeking both endorsements, he told The Chronicle.

About 35 people showed up at Fort Edward High School Wednesday night, Jan 14, for “The Fort Stops PFAS” meeting in opposition to waste management company Clean Earth’s plan to treat up to 5,000 tons of PFAS contaminated soil over a two-week period at its facility on Towpath Lane in Fort Edward.
