The Glens Falls restaurant Radici Kitchen+Bar on Ridge Street has closed to take a three-week “pause.” They expect to reopen Thursday, September 16.

“We decided we needed a mental health vacation. Not only ourselves, but especially for the staff, too,” chef-owner Brian Bowden told The Chronicle. “We can see it in everyone’s faces. We are cognizant of people needing time off.”

333 Glen — the 10-story downtown building that houses Travelers Insurance and other tenants — went on the market last week for $15-million. Glens Falls’s only “skyscraper,” it’s already generating “good interest,” says listing agent Mark Levack. Chronicle Managing Editor Cathy DeDe writes: A Grand Opening for the new tennis, pickleball and basketball courts in Crandall Park, Glens Falls, is scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 1:30 p.m.

The pickleball and tennis courts are already open and being used.
