Radici, Ridge St. restaurant, goes on ‘pause’ until mid-September

The Glens Falls restaurant Radici Kitchen+Bar on Ridge Street has closed to take a three-week “pause.” They expect to reopen Thursday, September 16.

“We decided we needed a mental health vacation. Not only ourselves, but especially for the staff, too,” chef-owner Brian Bowden told The Chronicle. “We can see it in everyone’s faces. We are cognizant of people needing time off.”

333 Glen for sale: $15-million

333 Glen — the 10-story downtown building that houses Travelers Insurance and other tenants — went on the market last week for $15-million. Glens Falls’s only “skyscraper,” it’s already generating “good interest,” says listing agent Mark Levack. He said numerous entities have filed the non-disclosure forms required to view specs on the property.

Chris Patten & GF eye deal for him to build elsewhere than green space at Bay-Glen

Crandall Park tennis & pickleball courts open; event on Oct. 1

Chronicle Managing Editor Cathy DeDe writes: A Grand Opening for the new tennis, pickleball and basketball courts in Crandall Park, Glens Falls, is scheduled on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 1:30 p.m.

The pickleball and tennis courts are already open and being used.

Hours are daily until the lights go off at 10 p.m., Crandall Park Beautification Committee president Elizabeth Little Hogan told The Chronicle.
