Washington County Fair: It’s ‘the whole package’

The 135th Washington County Fair opens Monday, Aug. 18, and runs to Sunday, Aug. 24.
What’s the biggest draw?

Harts’ 3rd generation steps up

Julie (Hart) Murphy, the third-generation of the local Hart pizza-making family, plans to move her Queen of Harts Pizza across Lafayette Street to a larger space in the Noon Whistle Deli building.

The Glens Falls Planning Board was to consider at its Aug. 6 meeting site plan review for a renovation, addition and townhouse project at 196 Ridge Street by the Snyder family that owns Snyder Drywall in Moreau. They plan six apartments and six new townhouses on the 1.135-acre parcel at the corner of Ridge and William Streets.
