Jacky Touba’s new history of ‘World’ kids Museum in Glens Falls

Ten years in the writing, Dr. Jacquiline Touba’s latest book is a history of the World Awareness Children’s Museum, which the world-traveling sociologist founded in her adopted hometown, Glens Falls, in 1985.

Past Hyde chief’s hot new book

333 Glen St. offers wedge at Bay & Glen for lease: $1.4-million

The owners of 333 Glen Street — most recently known as the Travelers Building ­ — have put up for commercial lease the half-acre open space where Bay and Glen Streets meet facing the Civil War monument. They’re asking $1,400,000.

Flooding at The Mill forces some from apartment

The Chronicle’s Ben Westcott reports: A sprinkler malfunction on March 16 on the fifth floor of The Mill in downtown Glens Falls caused water damage requiring some residents to find alternative housing as repairs continue to be made.
