The band’s two-day Summit music festival, Friday and Saturday last week, rocked the Queensbury Hotel as I imagine it’s rarely if ever been rocked before — and that’s knowing The Who stayed there years ago, and no doubt some wedding or another at the venue went a little wild.

To say that Ralph and Alissa Rimualdo of Queensbury hit the ground running with their 1,500 square-foot Beef Jerky Outlet at The Outlets of Lake George is putting it mildly.

Sunday’s 25th Taste of the North Country food festival in downtown Glens Falls brought a huge crowd and banner results.

The Glens Falls Kiwanis Club said they grossed $79,500, a leap from last year’s $49,000. It brought the 25-year total to $1.4-million. “Not bad,” said event chairman Jerrod Ogden.
