Officer Hogan pled guilty to Disorderly Conduct, a violation

Chronicle Managing Editor Cathy DeDe writes: A follow-up on the case of former Glens Falls Police Officer John Hogan III, who was accused of stealing more than $5,000 from the Glens Falls Police Benevolent Association while he was serving as that organization’s treasurer.

178 Glen plans four 2-bedroom apartments, aided by Glens Falls $200,000 grant

Teena Flores and her daughter Jessica Ergmann own 178 Glen Street and plan to turn the vacant second and third floors into four two-bedroom apartments, two on each floor.

Neighbors balk at proposal for greater tourism use of Cooper’s Point Mansion at Green Harbour

The Green Harbour Home Owners Association is opposing conversion of the Cooper’s Point Mansion on Lake George to an 18-bedroom tourist accommodation.

Green Harbour LLC also wants to add parking, a pool, a patio area and a pathway extending toward the lake, according to a project description on the Town of Lake George Planning Board agenda.

Woerner bill would create SUNY institute to study mobile gambling issues

Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner says mobile sports betting has created a new dimension in problem gambling.

The Round Lake Democrat who chairs the Assembly Racing and Wagering Committee introduced legislation in November to establish a problem gambling research institute within the State University of New York system.
