Chronicle Managing Editor Cathy DeDe reports: Incumbent Glens Falls Mayor Bill Collins will have the Conservative party line in the November general election, according to Warren County Board of Elections documents provided in response to a Chronicle inquiry.

The Chronicle’s Ben Westcott reports: A sprinkler malfunction on March 16 on the fifth floor of The Mill in downtown Glens Falls caused water damage requiring some residents to find alternative housing as repairs continue to be made.
The Chronicle had heard about the incident from several people and asked building manager Cass Hill Development of Latham about it.

The 100-year-old congregation at Temple Beth El is considering selling its building on Marion Avenue, Glens Falls.
Temple president Sara Friedman told The Chronicle “in no way” have they decided at this point to sell the building. They are “undertaking a strategic exploration of options.”
Ms. Friedman said the Reform Jewish Congregation numbers about 75 families.
