Bonacio update: Sandy’s Clam Bar, Hotshots, ‘Incubator’

The City of Glens Falls and Bonacio Development and Construction offered updates in two public meetings last week on renovation of the so-called “Incubator” building at 36 Elm Street plus the former Sandy’s Clam Bar and Hotshots buildings at 41 and 45 South Street.

Two established local restaurants — Grumbellies from Fort Ann and Kerrie’s from Queensbury — are in the process of moving to Broadway in downtown Fort Edward.
Both came before the Fort Edward Planning/Zoning Board Tuesday night.
The board unanimously approved the Grumbellies plan. Nasrene Haj, Doreen Rabine and Bernard Taylor all voted yes.

State Senator Dan Stec is neck and neck with Anthony Constantino in a poll conducted by Mr. Constantino.
“I’m at 40.1%,” Mr. Constantino wrote.
“…Dan Stec, admittedly, is just behind me at 39.7% but he’s a Trump hater so he’s not an option. The President does not want a Trump hater in Congress.”

Chronicle reporter Ben Westcott writes: Robert Neuweiler won’t be open by St. Patrick’s Day as he had hoped.
The Glens Falls Planning Board tabled his application to open The Messenger House restaurant/bar on Maple Street at the former Dango’s.
