I don’t know how you spent your Sunday after Thanksgiving. I spent mine hunkered down for more than six hours at SUNY Adirondack’s Culinary Arts classroom in downtown Glens Falls learning how to butcher a deer.

Glen Lake residents resist Cole’s Collision Qby. Rt. 9 plan

Cole’s Collision wants to open its eighth location on Route 9 in Queensbury at the site of the former Blue Moose Restaurant.

The Glen Lake Protective Association is resisting. Paul Derby, the group’s president, told The Chronicle the “vast majority” of members oppose it “because of the potential environmental harms to Glen Lake that the business could create.”

Glens Falls football falls to Sleepy Hollow in state semifinal

For the second straight year, Glens Falls football’s undefeated season ended in the Class B state semifinals, as the Black Bears fell to Sleepy Hollow 42-20 Saturday at Middletown’s Faller Field.

Sleepy Hollow (12-1) was propelled by senior running back and University of Rhode Island commit Brayden Richardson. He set a Section I single-game rushing record with 446 yards while scoring five touchdowns.
