Sagamore Ice Bar: ‘Exclusive’ now by design

The Sagamore’s Glacier Ice Bar — which launched the region’s winter-season craze — is back for the ninth year. It’ll run on two separate weekends: Fridays and Saturdays, Jan. 21-22 and Jan. 28-29, at the Bolton Landing resort.

Blames bubblers for dog’s drowning

My daughter lost her dog the other day after finding him dead in the open water at a neighbor’s dock because of their bubbler system, and had to tell my grandson that Finnegan is dead.

Flamingo on Lake George will stay a family resort

After 65 seasons the Pasternak family has sold The Flamingo Resort at Diamond Point on Lake George for $6.5 million to Chris and Jill Kozaczka.

Capri Village Motel on LG sold; 15 house units planned

Capri Village Motel in Diamond Point sold last week for $5.49-million to David Massaroni, Sr. across two transactions.

“It’s just a great piece of property,” Mr. Massaroni told The Chronicle. “It’s got great views, great elevation, great amenities, got a nice beach, boathouse, the docks are in. Great location on the lake.”
