‘Major project’ will upgrade Crandall Park with ‘something for everyone’

“We are in the initial stages of identifying new big changes for Crandall Park,” Crandall Park Beautification Committee president Elizabeth Hogan tells The Chronicle.

“This is a major, major project,” said Mike Mender, interim recreation director for the City of Glens Falls.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Dimitri Koumanis and a partner have transformed the former Salvation Army headquaters at 13 Chester Street in Glens Falls into a modern mixed-use medical office building that includes four two-bedroom apartments — all rented — and a shared rooftop terrace. Drum Corps competition returns to East Field, July 21
