Lake George: Let guests dine outside now!

UPDATE: Outside dining is now allowed. NYS changed the rule after The Chronicle went to press.

300+ at rally & counter-rally in Glens Falls Sunday

Some 300 to 350 people attended the spontaneous protests at Centennial Circle on Sunday, May 31, estimates Glens Falls Assistant Police Chief Joseph Boisclair, who was at the forefront, with Chief Anthony Lydon away this week.

“We were pleased overall with how things went,” Asst. Chief Boisclair said. “People were able to get their point out, with almost no incidents.”

This would have been Americade; will it happen on July 21-25?

This week would have been the 38th Americade motorcycle rally in Lake George. Organizer Christian Dutcher still hopes to conduct it the week of July 21-25.
