Glens Falls Mayor Bill Collins is catching flak on several fronts as 2023 begins.
• Food truck fees.
• Parking fees and penalties.
• Building permits, stop work orders.
“None of these issues are easy,” Mayor Collins told The Chronicle in a wide-ranging phone conversation Tuesday.
Chronicle Editor Mark Frost writes: A 50-year-old woman is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Darryl and Sharon Getman in Mount Dora, Florida. Their bodies were found on New Year’s Eve, said news reports.
The Getmans — Darryl was 83, Sharon was 80 — lived at Waterman Village senior living facility, said Fox 35 Orlando.

After 34 months — nearly three years — the Gazetos family has reopened on South Street in downtown Glens Falls where the 103-year-old hot dog biz began.
