Minogues stores renamed ‘BEVS’ by new Saratoga Eagle owner

The four Minogue’s Beverage Centers in Queensbury, Malta, Saratoga Springs and Wilton are newly rebranded as BEVS.

The move was made by the Vukelic family, owners of beer distributor Saratoga Eagle, who purchased the beverage centers from the Minogue family in 2021.

Hickory Ski gets funding, can open lifts

Hickory Hill Ski center in Warrensburg said it has secured financial assistance from two outdoor companies — Indy Pass and Unofficial Networks — and “may run its lifts for the first time in eight years.”

Last week the Ski Center put out a call for supporters to buy season passes so it could buy the “liability insurance required for state certification of our lifts for operation.”

Hochul by 12/31 likely to decide: Move most local elections to even years, on federal, state schedule, with Prez & Gov

The State Assembly and Senate have passed a bill to move most local and county elections, now held in odd-numbered years, to even-numbered years coinciding with state and federal elections.

Gov. Hochul has until Dec. 31 to either sign or veto the legislation, or let it become law without her signature.
