LGA & LG Park Commission: We’re buddies

The Lake George Association and the Lake George Park Commission issued a press release Tuesday saying their fight over use of ProcellaCOR is over and they are “committed to collaboration.”

The LGA at the same time issued “initial results from ProcellaCOR monitoring” of the herbicide’s use in two bays June 29.

Park Commission seeks mandatory septic inspection; LGA: Do more

The Lake George Park Commission has issued its proposed new regulations on septic systems around the lake.

All wastewater systems located within 500 feet of Lake George or within 100 feet of DEC regulated streams would have to be inspected every five years under proposed State regulations seeking “to prevent degradation of the Lake from wastewater pollution.”

LGA will fight LG Park Commission’s OK of herbicide against milfoil

The Lake George Association came out fighting after the Lake George Park Commission approved on Tuesday use of an herbicide against invasive milfoil.

LG Park Commission seeks septic system inspection every five years

The Lake George Park Commission is laying the regulatory groundwork for a rolling septic inspection program that would require private systems around the lake to be checked by Park Commission inspectors every five years.
