Fast-growing organic meat farmer buys & son to manage Pole Valley Golf

Mark Faille, who in the past decade has become a major farm presence in Washington County raising “100% grass-fed beef and pasture-raised pork,” last Friday bought the 197-acre Pole Valley golf course in the Town of Hartford and renamed it Hartford Greens Country Club. Operation Santa cancels December gala at the Sagamore; seeks individual donors

The local children’s charity Operation Santa Claus has cancelled, due to Covid, what would have been the 35th Operation Santa Ball at the Sagamore, which has organizers thinking Christmas in August.

Pete Collins, at age 83, still teachers kids to waterski; last go-round
