The Ice Castles in Lake George may not be done, event manager Brad Buehlhorn told The Chronicle on the warm Tuesday (Feb. 22) as the paper went to press.

The attraction was open to visitors last Sunday, but it closed for several days before and after, due to warm weather.

The redrawn New York State Assembly and Senate district lines have been released, with significant changes locally.

Opponents have vowed to challenge them in court.

Republican State Senator Dan Stec’s 45th District becomes the 47th, stretching from the Canadian border as far south as Mechanicville. It contains all of Warren, Washington, Essex, Hamilton, Clinton and part of Saratoga and Fulton Counties.

The Corinth Girls Basketball team defeated Hartford, 62-47, to complete an undefeated, dominating regular season.

The Adirondack League Champions have a record of 20 wins, no losses. Recent victories include 62-18 over Granville, 65-18 over Lake George, and 70-25 over Waterford-Halfmoon.

Sectionals are up next, starting after seeding this week.
