City approves solar on roof of Harding Mazzotti Arena

The Glens Falls Common Council voted unanimously at its May 26 meeting for the city to enter into a contract with National Grid for a solar energy project on the roof of Harding Mazzotti Arena. Ward 1 Councilman Dan Donohue was not present for the vote.

Guilty plea, probation in Argyle dog deaths

Anastasia Palulis, co-owner of Anastasia’s Acres dog boarding in Argyle, was sentenced to two years probation Wednesday, May 27, after pleading guilty in Argyle Town Court to misdemeanors in the deaths of 21 dogs left overnight at the facility with no water or ventilation in August 2025.

Anastasia’s Acres owner sentenced to two years probation in Argyle dog death incident

Ben Westcott reports: Anastasia Palulis, owner of Anastasia’s Acres dog boarding in Argyle, was sentenced to two years probation Wednesday after pleading guilty in Argyle Town Court to misdemeanors in the deaths of 21 dogs left overnight at the facility with no water or ventilation in August 2025.

The misdemeanors were Overdriving, Torturing, and Injuring Animals; Failure to Provide Proper Sustenance.
