Hudson Headwaters now is region’s sole dedicated OB/GYN provider

Since last September, when the Women’s Care private practice in Glens Falls closed, Hudson Headwaters Women’s Health became the only game in town dedicated to women’s health services, gynecological care and obstetrics.

“Town” is actually all or part of seven counties — Warren, Washington, northern Saratoga and beyond — encompassing roughly 7,400 square miles.

Glens Falls removing 38 trees on Webster Ave.; big project is redoing street

Glens Falls is removing 38 trees on Webster Avenue to make way for a major pavement and infrastructure project.

Some trees are already gone. The rest are marked with white paint for removal by the end of the month.

City Superintendent of Public Works Tom Girard said the city has been looking into the Webster Avenue Pavement Preservation Project for four years.

Glens Falls Public Safety balks at Hoffman carwash

The Glens Falls Board of Public Safety voted unanimously at its March 13 meeting to urge rejection of Hoffman Car Wash’s plan to build at 194 Broad Street, where Steve’s Place restaurant closed on March 15. Hoffman is buying the property.

Bonacio gets $6.6-million NYS tax credits, key step for his South St. apts.

New York Gov. Hochul announced Monday that the apartment project proposed by Bonacio Development for…South Street has qualified for tax credits valued at $6.6 million,” the City of Glens Falls said Tuesday.
