Knights, Wolves, Black Bears, Hawks: GF’s final mascot options

The final choices for Glens Falls’ new mascot, as chosen by “the Superintendent’s Student Cabinet,” are Knights, Wolves, Black Bears, and Hawks, Superintendent Krislynn Dengler announced Tuesday.

Glens Falls Police arrest NJ man for allegedly damaging cars with machete

The Glens Falls Police Department in a press release that it arrested William Palangi, 53, of Northvale, New Jersey, after officers witnessed him allegedly “damaging vehicles in the Glens Falls Hospital parking lot with a machete Thursday afternoon,” January 19.

Armed robbery reported at exit 21 Mobil in Lake George last Thursday, 1/12

On January 12, 2023 at around 8:15pm, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office investigated an armed robbery at the Xtra-Mart Mobil at 2398 St. Rt. 9N in Lake George, they said in a press release.

“A male suspect entered the store, approached the clerk, displayed a handgun and demanded cash and cigarettes. After which, he fled the scene in a vehicle,” said the release.

3 attempted armed robbery incidents reported in Glens Falls in last 36 hours; no arrests made yet

Glens Falls Police asked the public to “remain vigilant after three armed robberies” that occured with in the last 36 hours, they said in a press release Thursday morning, January 12.
