Common Roots temporary tap room, brewery approved in SGF

The owners of Common Roots Brewing Company will open a temporary brewing space and taproom at 30 Saratoga Avenue, just north of their burned-out site, after the South Glens Falls Planning Board approved the move Wednesday night.

Brewers rally for Common Roots

The region’s craft brewers are rallying around Bert and Christian Weber’s Common Roots. The South Glens Falls brewery was destroyed by fire Monday night.

Kurt Borchardt and Colin Quinn, who co-own Artisanal Brew Works in Saratoga, organized a meeting of brewers Tuesday afternoon.
