Argyle Cheese up & running in HF at former Lewis Super

The Argyle Cheese Farmer is up and running at its new headquarters — the former Lewis Supermarket on Burgoyne Avenue in Hudson Falls.

Business is “pretty good,” said Marge Randles and John Dickinson on a mini-tour last Wednesday.

Mrs. Randles adds, “It’s never enough, but the holidays were good.”

Argyle Cheese to open store now at former Lewis Super, Hudson Falls

With the Coronavirus crisis decimating its sales in the New York City market, the Argyle Cheese Farmer business now intends to open a retail store right away in the former Lewis Super building it bought on Burgoyne Avenue in Hudson Falls.

Hudson Falls: Lewis Super closing Sept. 4, after 70 years

Lewis Supermarket on Burgoyne Avenue in Hudson Falls is closing.

“I broke the news to our employees this morning,” owner Em Lewis told The Chronicle Tuesday. He operates the store with his wife Debbie. He said Wednesday, Sept. 4, will be the store’s last day.
