Henry Knox’s Revolutionary cannon feat to be celebrated next December

Next December Henry Knox’s key contribution to the success of the American Revolution will be celebrated as part of the “Semiquincentenial” 250th birthday of the United States.

During the harsh winter of 1775-1776, Knox’s men and horses transported 60 tons of cannons over 300 snow- and ice-covered miles from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston in 56 days.

8,000 striking prison guards still defy Hochul & mediator, face immediate firing
