Deric Buck sets ‘Buck’s Tavern’ at the former Blue Moose

Already operates Bogey’s at Bay Meadows & owns Kingsbury National

Deric Buck, who operates Bogey’s at Bay Meadows and last year purchased Kingsbury National Golf Club, has taken over the former Blue Moose restaurant property on Route 9, just north of the Great Escape, on a lease-to-own agreement.

Deric Buck takes over on Oct. 4 at Kingswood; new name: Kingsbury National Golf Club

Deric Buck — who already operates Bay Meadows golf course in Queensbury — will take over on Oct. 4 at Kingswood, the Hudson Falls golf course he and his mother are buying for $1.8-million from Peter Shabat.

Deric Buck, who operates Bay Meadows, will buy Kingswood Golf in Hudson Falls

Deric Buck, in his fourth year of operating Bay Meadows Golf Club and Bogey’s restaurant in Queensbury, is buying Kingswood Golf Club in Hudson Falls, The Chronicle has learned.

“We have signed a contract,” Mr. Buck confirmed Tuesday. “The tentative closing is in October.”
