Dr. Slingerland to become Hudson Headwaters CEO

Hudson Headwaters Health Network founder Dr. John Rugge will become executive chairman on July 1, turning the reins as chief executive officer over to Dr. Tucker Slingerland.

Dr. Dan Larson, a member of Hudson Headwaters’ senior management for nearly three decades, will become Chief Medical Officer emeritus.

All three physicians will continue to see patients, Dr. Rugge stressed to The Chronicle.

Hudson Headwaters to start training UVM medical students

Starting next March, six third-year medical students from the University of Vermont will be trained at Hudson Headwaters’ health centers in Warrensburg and Glens Falls.

GF pediatric practices notify GF Hospital they will stop seeing patients there after June 30

Glens Falls Pediatrics and Adirondack Pediatrics both have informed Glens Falls Hospital that they will no longer treat newborns, infants and children at the hospital after June 30, The Chronicle has learned.
