Chronicle Managing Editor Cathy DeDe writes: Glens Falls Community Theatre will hold sign-ups for its 21st “Senior Seminar” theater workshop and show, at its introductory meeting on Monday, March 9, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Triads Music Center Rehearsal Room, 219 Main Street, Hudson Falls.
This year’s theme is “Holidays on Parade.” Info or questions: Director Doris Seipel at 743-0850 or Assistant Director Lynn Gorham at 792-8764.
“This one is special,” Mrs. Seipel writes, “as we will dedicate ‘Holidays On Parade’ to our dear Music Director, Nancy Armstrong.”

“We were devastated by Nancy’s passing, but have decided to GO ON WITH THE SHOW as she would have wanted,” Mrs. Seipel wrote.
“Catherine Reid, well known musical talent and colleague of Nancy, is stepping in as Music Director.
“Nancy had a lot of input,” already, Mrs. Seipel wrote. “Holidays On Parade is a lot of fun, a most creative celebration of holidays.”
The seminar is open to seniors ages 55-up, no experience necessary.

Rehearsal/workshops run Mondays to Thursdays, beginning March 9, from noon to 3 p.m. each day at Triads. The seminar ends with two fully staged shows, Tuesday, April 16, at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Strand Theater in Hudson Falls.
Participants help choose the numbers and create the show with the guidance of local professionals and show directors.
“Senior Seminar is a program that tells the audience that we are here, we’re engaged with life, we’re funny and we have a lot of life and humor to share,” Mrs. Seipel wrote.
“Hope to see you, as we are in it for Nancy and the Seniors!”
