Ben Westcott writes: Tractor Supply seeks to open a location in Kingsbury on a 3686 Burgoyne Ave. property “right across from the community pool and Tri County Eye Care,” Kingsbury Supervisor Dana Hogan told The Chronicle.

Plattsburgh couple, 23, to open Kay’Z Bubble Tea shop, Empire Bldg., Glens Falls

Kayler Grizzle and fiancé Zack Bushey, both 23, plan to open Kay’Z Bubble Tea in the first-floor, right-hand cafe space of the Empire Theater building, 11 South Street.

“We got the keys yesterday,” Ms. Grizzle told The Chronicle Monday.

Ed Moore bought Queensbury Hotel 10 years ago today; hotel 100th 5/7

Today, Thursday, March 26, marks the 10th anniversary of Ed Moore’s purchase of the Queensbury Hotel, bringing it back under local ownership.

County Oc Tax panel backs $200,000 for study to fix GF arena ice; goes to full board

Warren County’s Occupancy Tax committee approved on Monday a $200,000 request from the Adirondack Civic Center Coalition to help fund the design phase to replace the ice chilling machinery and machine room of the Harding Mazzotti Arena in Glens Falls.

It matches the $200,000 the City of Glens Falls committed.

The vote was unanimous, but discussion was mixed.

Bald Eagle nest in Fort Edward crashed in windstorm; crushing eggs

A Bald Eagle’s nest high in a tree in Riverside Cemetery in Fort Edward crashed to the ground during the March 17 windstorm. Three eggs inside were smashed, and the nest destroyed.

At the Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting March 20, Chairman Bob Henke of Argyle lamented the loss. He said the eagles had been working on the nest for “almost 15 years.”…
