Is there pent-up demand for people to get out and have fun? Sunday’s scene at Rookie’s Cookies & Creme in Fort Edward suggests a resounding yes. Open for drive-thru only, the non-stop line of cars wrapped entirely around the building, and were lined up in both directions on Broadway (U.S. Route 4) waiting to turn in. Across the street, Fort Hudson nursing home has been hard hit by Covid.
