Battles lines are being drawn as Warren County supervisors debate how the county divides $26-million in sales tax revenue among its 11 towns and the City of Glens Falls.
Right now, the money is distributed based on each town’s assessed property value, benefiting towns with expensive waterfront homes like Bolton, Lake George, Chester, Horicon and Hague.
