GF re Bonacio parking: ‘Better deal for us than 14 Hudson’ was

Jeff Flagg, Glens Falls Director of Development, tells The Chronicle that 14 Hudson — the Bonacio-Galesi Group 2018 project — set the precedent for the city to provide parking spaces for the developer’s South Street projects. The city built the Park Street Parking Garage.

What’s to become of the South Street Community Pavilion?

On Nov. 2, developer Sonny Bonacio’s Spring City Development group purchased from the City of Glens Falls the South Street parking lot where the Farmers Market takes place seasonally on Saturday mornings.

The price was $255,000.

The Farmers Market will still be able to use the site at least through next year, Mayor Bill Collins told The Chronicle.

Glens Falls mayor hopes Bonacio will break ground by summer, still hunts financing

Glens Falls Mayor Bill Collins told The Chronicle the start of construction has been delayed on Phase One of Sonny Bonacio’s South and Elm Street project as the Saratoga developer negotiates loans and other funding, especially given changing interest rates.
