North Creek Depot Museum prez favors rails, not trails

Railbikes made 2019 the best year ever for the Railway Depot Museum in North Creek, says Ellen Schaefer, president of North Creek Railway Depot Preservation Society. She says she is firmly against removing rail lines in Warren County.

Push begins to convert North Creek rail to hike & bike trail

The Warren County Board of Supervisors on Friday, Dec. 20, will consider seeking “abandonment” of its 55-mile rail line from Corinth to North Creek.

“That would allow us to consider other options for the line, including creating a recreational trail,” says County Board chairman Ron Conover, who chairs the county board.
