GF school in flux: 6 top administration jobs are open or shifting

Chronicle Managing Editor Cathy DeDe writes: Glens Falls School District has six top positions in flux: Superintendent of Schools, Assistant Superintendent, Athletic Director, High School Principal, High School Assistant Principal and Middle School Assistant Principal.

Changing of the guard at GF schools: Jenkins, Corlew to retire

It’s a major changing of the guard in the Glens Falls School District. Superintendent Paul Jenkins and Athletic Director Arthur “Chip” Corlew both will retire at the end of the school year in June.

Mr. Jenkins told The Chronicle Tuesday, “This job is outstanding. I’ve been here for 13 years, and it’s the best job I’ve ever had.”

Glens Falls School vote Dec. 14: Capital projects including field lights

Voters in the Glens Falls City School District go to the polls on Tuesday, Dec. 14, to decide on two Capital Projects costing up to $32.1 million.

Tuesday’s vote is from noon to 9 p.m. at Sanford Street School. Abraham Wing district residents are not eligible to vote.

Hundreds attend discussion of GF school’s Covid policies
